You Should Have Believed Them

Everyone who thought that Terri Schiavo wasn’t in a persistent vegetative state was wrong. The autopsy of the late Terri Schiavo revealed
“The damage was irreversible, and no amount of therapy or treatment would have regenerated the massive loss of neurons.” (Jon Thogmartin, the medical examiner who led the autopsy)
I will side with both parties here. Her death is saddening, and it is horrible that she even ended up in that state. It is tragic that she ended up the way she did. As much as many of you think, it must have been God’s will for her. Mainly what I think about it is that she is with her Lord Jesus Christ now. All Believers can rejoice in that fact.
I realize that I was right in believing the doctors that stated she was in a persistent vegetative state, but I won’t rub it in. This isn’t something to be gloating about. Usually medical experts know what they’re talking about. But again, this is a lesson that would have to be learned at one time or another, sadly enough. I hope that people have learned from this experience, as tragic and depressing as it is.
Mr. Bush, you were wrong. I’d like an apology at this time.
I refuse to even touch the subject regarding why her husband wanted the plug pulled, as it is quite controversial, and I don’t want a flame war here. This is a place of acceptance, don’t make it a place of denial, intolerance and ignorance. Thank you all.
